How we picked

We took the cordless models on Amazon’s Stick Vacuums best-seller list on October 28, 2026, and compared what owners say about suction, pet hair and battery. Where Vacuum Wars had published lab results for the exact model, we used them.

The short version

  • Most homes: the JELLYPIG X100. Owners are happier with it than with anything else here.
  • Least money: the Tikom V500.
  • Mostly carpet: the KARDV V06.
  • Pets and a name you know: the Bissell FurGuard 4039.

The picks, in detail

JELLYPIG X100. Owners give it 95% positive on value and 93% on suction. Vacuum Wars measured 120 inches of sealed suction and a fog test with no leaks. The catch is carpet. It pulled out 80% of embedded sand, well below the 93% cordless average, and at about 4 pounds the handle is on the heavy side.

Tikom V500. Vacuum Wars found it near-flawless against hair wrap and said its filtration was the best it had seen under $100. It is weaker on deep carpet (89%) and big debris. A third of 1,116 battery mentions are negative, many about slow charging.

KARDV V06. It beat both of the above in the carpet test at 94%, with 36 CFM at the floor head and 20.1 minutes on max. Filtration is the trade-off: fine dust escaped in the fog test.

Bissell FurGuard 4039. Hair up to 16 inches shouldn’t wrap the brushroll, and 85% of pet hair mentions are positive. The bin is tiny, though, at 0.3 L. Turbo mode lasts 13 minutes by Bissell’s own count.

Shark PowerPro Flex IZ382H. Buy it for the bending wand, not the numbers. Durability mentions are 75% negative across 120 reviews.

SMOTURE VAC02. Its auto mode and 1.5 L bin suit a big house. Only 26 owners mention durability, so the long-term record is thin.

Buying advice

Budget for max-mode time. Plan on roughly 20 minutes of full power. Need more? Get a swappable battery and buy a spare.

A big bin beats a big kPa figure. You’ll empty a 0.3 L cup two or three times in a pet home. The 1.3 to 1.8 L bins on the budget picks are a real daily advantage.

Clean the filter. JELLYPIG’s own listing says to empty the cup after every use and clean the filter every 1 to 2 weeks to keep suction steady.

Skipped on purpose: the Shark Cordless Pet IY143H. It’s #3 on the list, but only 40% of 1,084 value mentions are positive.

FAQ

How long does a cordless stick vacuum really run?

The headline number is for the lowest setting. Vacuum Wars measured about 18 to 20 minutes on max for the Tikom V500, KARDV V06 and JELLYPIG X100, against listed runtimes of 32 to 70 minutes.

Do kPa suction ratings mean anything?

Not much for comparing brands. The JELLYPIG lists 60 kPa and the Tikom 40 kPa, yet Vacuum Wars measured usable (unsealed) suction of about 0.2 kPa for both. Airflow and carpet tests tell you more.

Can I buy a second battery?

For the KARDV V06, Tikom V500 and Bissell FurGuard 4039, yes: their batteries are removable. SMOTURE says a second battery is sold separately. The JELLYPIG listing doesn't say the battery comes out.

Is a cheap Amazon brand stick vacuum worth it over Shark?

Based on owner data, often yes. The Shark Cordless Pet IY143H has 47% positive pet hair mentions, while the JELLYPIG X100 sits at 93% positive on suction. Long-term reliability of the newer brands is less proven.

How we put this together

We compared manufacturer specs and Amazon listing details, read the patterns in Amazon owner reviews (we refresh this snapshot regularly), and scored each product with our published rubric. We have not tested these units hands-on. When we do, the page will say so. Prices change constantly, so we link to the live price instead of quoting one.
